Fiorentina have announced the signing of versatile midfielder Juan Guillermo Cuadrado from Udinese . The 24-year-old was in Florence on Monday evening to complete a medical after agreeing personal terms with the club. The Colombia international joins La Viola on a season-long loan deal, with the option of joining Vincenzo Montella’s side on a co-ownership basis for an additional €5 million fee, should the club so wish.   A brief statement on the club’s official website read: “Fiorentina announce that it they acquired the playing rights of footballer Juan Guillermo Cuadrado from Udinese on loan with the right to redemption.” Cuadrado was thrilled to have completed his move, telling reporters:  “I’m happy to be in Florence, and to be joining the squad. I say hello to all the Fiorentina fans.” The player moved to Serie A from Independiente Medellin in 2009, and spent last season on loan at Lecce after two years at the Stadio Friuli. He has won 11 caps for his country, scoring two goals.
