Portugal winger Nani has handed coach Paulo Bento a boost by returning to training three days before his country’s Euro 2012 Group B opener against Germany . The Manchester United man had picked up a foot injury in Saturday’s 3-1 friendly defeat to Turkey at home, leading to fears he could miss the start of the tournament in Poland and Ukraine. However, the 25-year-old resumed light workout on Wednesday, and he is expected to return to full training with the rest of the squad soon. Nani has scored 13 goals in 53 appearances for the national team since making his debut in 2006. Portugal face Denmark on June 13 in the second group match before squaring off with Netherlands on June 17.
