Friendly: Austria 3-2 Ukraine
Marko Arnautovic scored twice as Euro 2012 co-hosts Ukraine suffered their first defeat in seven matches against Austria in Innsbruck on Friday night. Arnautovic struck the winner in the 89th minute after Ukraine had twice drawn level through midfielder Oleg Husyev. Austria took a third-minute lead when Zlatko Junuzovic curled a free-kick beyond Ukraine goalkeeper Oleksandr Horyainov, who was substituted at half-time. Veteran striker Andriy Shevchenko was also introduced at the break and Ukraine looked better for his presence before Husyev levelled on 56 minutes, finding an empty net after a Andriy Yarmolenko assist. Arnautovic grabbed his first goal on 62 minutes before Husyev again equalised with a powerful long-range effort. Artem Milevskiy then saw a header cleared off the line but Werder Bremen forward Arnautovic won it when he tricked past Bohdan Butko before firing home. Ukraine are set to finish their finals preparations with another friendly against Turkey in Augsburg on Tuesday, prior to kicking off their tournament the following Monday against Sweden in Kiev.
