Sportsnet signs up for UEFA Europa League

UEFA announced today the award of the 2012-15 UEFA Europa League media rights in Canada to Sportsnet. This announcement follows on from the recent award of 2012-15 UEFA Champions League media rights to Sportsnet in the territory. Sportsnet will broadcast two live matches each matchnight on Sportsnet ONE and on Sportsnet World, as well as a highlights programme each matchweek. All rights have been granted on a platform-neutral basis, with the rights also being exploited on the internet via www.sportsnet.ca and on mobile. This announcement concludes the sale of 2012-15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League media rights in the Americas.
